National Cultural Basket

The IACC operates the Arts Enrichment program on behalf of Israel’s Ministry of Education. The program’s central mission is to advance educational goals by exposing K-12 students across Israel to a rich cultural world of theater, dance, music, film, literature, and visual arts.
The program aims to cultivate informed and thoughtful cultural engagement, helping to develop creative and critical thinking among students. It broadens horizons and nurtures the next generation of culture lovers in Israel.
The artistic repertoire is selected by professional committees composed of leading experts in each artistic field, who help tailor the content to the unique needs and characteristics of each community.
The program includes educational materials and structured activities designed to prepare students before performances and help them process and reflect on the experience afterward. Prices for performances and cultural encounters are significantly subsidized to ensure accessibility to all.
