Yomala Looks Ahead to the 2026–27 School Year

Yomala, IACC’s extended-day educational program for students on the autism spectrum, recently held its year-end meeting and began preparing for the 2026–27 school year.

Regional managers and program coordinators gathered to reflect on Yomala’s achievements and development since the program was established approximately two years ago. Participants discussed lessons learned, ongoing challenges, new opportunities and plans for the coming year.

Danit Geva led a professional session on processes of closure, transition and separation within educational settings. The professional team also focused on recruiting and training program leaders during the summer, setting objectives and developing work plans for the coming school year.

The meeting included experiential workshops and the creation of specialized professional teams that will contribute to upcoming staff training.

Yomala is creating meaningful change for thousands of children, families and local authorities throughout Israel—and it continues to grow. During the 2026–27 school year, the program is expected to expand from 460 to 650 educational settings.

As Yomala enters its next phase, it does so with a deep sense of pride, responsibility and confidence in the dedicated professionals who make the program possible.
