Grandma's Operation - Go Tell Grandma

At the Pardes Hanna-Karkur Community Center,

Therefore, in recent days, they launched "Operation Grandma" in which they called on the city's veterans to volunteer during an alarm and during their stay at the shelter to hold a fun and light story time for the children.

"If you are a grandmother who loves to tell stories, and you have that magic that keeps children captivated, we are looking for exactly you," they wrote in the WhatsApp groups of the neighborhood community center, and there was certainly a great response from the city's veterans to participate in this bringing together initiative.


Thus, believers in the community center benefit everyone. The respite and activity in the shelter is important for both the operator and the children. The time in the shelter can be long, and understandable activity can reduce anxiety and create a sense of connection.
