Active Aging and Older Adults
The Active Aging and Older Adults Division provides a comprehensive community-based response to the diverse needs of older adults. It combines dedicated programs for seniors with intergenerational initiatives, aiming to enhance well-being and active engagement.
Our programs create meaningful opportunities for older adults to stay connected, take an active role in their communities, and contribute in ways that reflect their experience, abilities, and interests.
The division advances partnerships that support aging well, such as employment opportunities with local businesses, volunteering in senior living centers, road safety and reading programs in kindergartens and schools, and afterschool learning centers.
