The 'Sports and Healthy Lifestyle' area in the Community Center Society strives to promote health, physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among all populations in the State of Israel, and includes a wide variety of programs in all areas of sports for children, youth and adults throughout the country, while emphasizing diversity and inclusion.


It operates nationwide, with a commitment to making sports and health activities accessible to all communities, thereby strengthening the sense of belonging, mutual responsibility, and quality of life.

Community Defender

The program is a joint venture of the Sports Department, together with the "Hechaluts" organization and the Hapoel Center, and its main goals are to provide a response to the need on the ground in creating close encounters between boys and girls from different communities and groups in Israeli society, and instilling values of fair sports education, tolerance, cooperation and equality.

Families of champions

The program, sponsored by the "Telma" company, promotes community and family values and emphasizes strengthening the family unit, by personally empowering program participants through joint physical activity for parents and children.

National Ninja League

K-12 program that promotes self-confidence and perseverance while encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
