Community Resilience
Community resilience shapes the strength of Israeli society. The IACC works to build and strengthen communities by establishing a solid social infrastructure, to reduce disparities and mitigate polarization. Through our nationwide network of community centers, we lead national programs, educational initiatives, and social projects that enable every individual to feel a true sense of belonging to their community.
The centers serve as community anchors, working in partnership with local authorities to tailor strategies for customized responses to emerging challenges. Outcomes are measured through community indices that reflect the overall quality of community life.
Flagship programs include the National Center for Measuring Community Life and the Community Index, Connections (community resilience for immigrant youth), and the IACC Directors’ Course for newly appointed community center board members.
