The Jerusalem District includes 38 community centers, most of which are located in the city of Jerusalem itself. The centers are spread across diverse neighborhoods in the city, from the Jewish Quarter in the Old City to the new neighborhoods, and serve all segments of the population: ultra-Orthodox, religious, secular, and Arab. The district also includes community centers in surrounding communities such as Ma'ale Adumim, Beitar Illit, Gush Etzion, and Mateh Binyamin, and caters to a diverse population that includes longtime residents, new immigrants, and communities from all corners of the Jerusalem social spectrum.
