Connected

The 'Connected' program began running in January 2019. As part of the program, 3 programs operate in approximately 45 community centers in the cities of Jerusalem, Netanya, Ashdod , Ashkelon, and Beit Shemesh .

 1. A class for every child (a program similar to the Keys program). For a participation fee of approximately 200 NIS per year, every child in grades 4-8 can participate in the classes held at the community center. Currently, more than 1,800 immigrant children from France take part in this program.

 2. Learning Centers : We have established learning centers in schools and community centers, which are held after school hours. This program allows children to reduce the gaps in the areas of language, math, and any academic subject that requires support. Approximately 400 children participate in this program.

 3. Youth groups : These groups have weekly activities that combine immigrant youth with veteran youth. The guide who accompanies the groups acts as an adult sibling and accompanies the youth through the complex challenges that adolescence presents them with. In addition, the youth also participate in volunteer and ethical activities in contributing to the community. Approximately 300 at-risk youth take part in this program.
