Call for Candidates – Position of Community Center Director
Locations:
North: Nof HaGalil, Tiberias (second position – designated for the Haredi sector)
South: Yavne, Meitar
The Community Centers Company of Israel is the largest social-community organization in Israel, operating throughout the country through its community centers, from Metula and Kiryat Shmona in the north to Eilat in the south. The company serves approximately 3 million Israelis, across all population groups and sectors, every day.
Today, the company operates community centers and branches in approximately 1,000 locations and works in 236 local authorities. Tens of thousands of employees of the company and the community centers operate hundreds of programs in a wide variety of fields.
The Community Center Manager is the beating heart of the community in which they operate.
The community center of the Community Centers Company serves as the connecting link between the community, the local authority, the central government, and philanthropic and business partners. The center works closely with the local authority, and in most municipalities it serves as the implementation arm for all social, community, and informal education areas, and more.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree is an advantage.
(Degrees from abroad will be accepted only with approval from the Council for Higher Education / Ministry of Education). - At least 5 years of experience in an organizational management role in the public, social, private, or business sector, including:
§ Direct management of at least 10 employees.
§ Direct financial management of at least 1.5 million NIS.
In diverse populations from the Haredi and Arab sectors, candidates who have managed 1 million NIS and a team of 6 employees may apply.

Exposure Meetings:
As part of the selection process, we are holding Zoom exposure meetings where we will present the recruitment process and how to prepare for it, introduce the Community Centers Company, and allow participants to ask questions.

Selection Process:
- Filling out the registration form – until 14.04.2026
Please prepare in advance and upload: education certificates (degrees), ID card + appendix, and a recent photo. - Telephone screening interview
- Computerized assessment – cognitive abilities, personality traits, management style, and integrity
- Personal interview
- Introduction meeting with the community center and field task
- Two-day assessment center including simulations, group dynamics, ambiguity handling, stress situations, and more
Candidates who successfully complete the process will be able to apply to selection committees in the municipality they designated.
Candidates who apply and are not selected may apply to additional selection committees according to company policy.
