Building Communities - Communal Infrastructures: The IACC provides communal infrastructure through building community strategy, training programs, operating initiatives and supporting the work of the community center. The IACC also provides local authorities with the tools to identify community needs and diminish the gap between ‘desirable’ and ‘obtainable’, based on the IACC’s Community Life Quality Index. |
| Israel Association of Community Centers (IACC)'s Evaluation and Measurement Research Department, in collaboration with the ERI (Effective Research for Impact) Institute, has developed a one of its kind in the world Community Index. This Index will serve as an accurate, data-based tool to measure a community's specific needs and thereafter, provide a sound basis for programming.

| | IACC plans to launch a measurement and evaluation research study to create a Community Index specifically for teens. The study will address problems and needs of this population, will define community dimensions and will analyze the data collected, to create an integral formula, that will serve as a data-based tool for designing efficient programs in the field of informal education.
