For the first time in the history of IACC and for the first time in Bedouin society- the IACC's Sports Department produced the 1st Rahat Race in the Negev, with over 600 runners and audience, from all over the county.
The race started at the "Idan Ha'Negev" industrial park located in the northern Negev - a symbol of Bedouin and Jewish collaborate life and employment- and continued to the streets of Rahat accompanied by hundreds of people who applauded the participants throughout the route.
The race was concluded with an exciting ceremony, attended by the Mayor of Rahat - Mr. Talel Al-Krinawi, the Director of the Rahat Community Center - Mr. Fuad al-Ziadna and the Director of the Sports Department - Mr. Hassan al-Zawaida.
