About 150 Jewish and Arab children and their parents from west Haifa joined at the Leo-Beck Community Center in Haifa to write greeting cards expressing hope for peace and to create an artistic peace dove.
The unique evening began with activities and a performance for children, underscoring hope for peace and good relations among neighbors.
An event commemorating the late President Shimon Peres, took place later that evening in an atmosphere of hope and peace; the event was moderated jointly by youth from the IACC's Leo-Beck Community Center and youngsters from the Arab village of Tamra.
A sing-along of peace songs combined with a performance of the "Baladi Group" that volunteered and came from the Tamra Community Center to present an amazing Dabke performance, swept the audience to the front of the stage, where everyone danced the Arab folk dance and the Horra Dance together.
