Enrichment Centers for Early Childhood and Families provide the building blocks, upon which children grow during the first years of their lives. The Centers offer meaningful and important resources to help families raise children who are responsible and give meaning to their own lives and the lives of those around them. This is a major reason that at the core of the activities of the IACC are Enrichment Centers for Early Childhood and Families that operate within the framework of community centers across Israel.
Enrichment Centers for Early Childhood and Families provide frameworks for informal educational sessions between children and parents, and encourage encounters between children and parents in the community and among families. Early childhood programs operate in synergy with the community center, while mapping the needs of the community and adapting activities in a focused way for a particular community.
The centers give each child a supportive framework which includes parents, families, educational settings and informal meetings that the centers provide in the afternoon, all from within the perspective of an educational continuum.
Additional layers of the Enrichment Centers for Early Childhood and Families include afternoon childcare facilities, which continue on straight from the school day, and centers for good parenting in partnership with Tnuva. All of the programs in these centers put the needs of the child and his development at the forefront, using a range of programs and activities, while creating partnerships with parents and the circles of the surrounding community – because every child and every family deserves a supportive community.
